Our story
Welcome to The Manor Holcombe, our country home in Somerset
This magnificent Georgian manor house has been my family home since 2015. It is the scene of many happy gatherings and where we have brought up our children.
For our guests and for us, staying in a historic home is an opportunity to be part of its rich history. Over the years The Manor has hosted many visitors and residents, the most thrilling for us being the family of Robert Falcon Scott, the famous Antarctic explorer.
While renovating the Manor, we were careful to preserve and enhance the original features of the structure, while updating the furnishings and art works to make it truly welcoming and comfortable. We particularly love the Georgian roof light and large windows which fill the interiors with natural light, while our private pool, gym and hot tub are our favourite contemporary additions.
As we do not live at the Manor all year round, it has become a unique rental property for families and friends to enjoy. We look forward to welcoming you too.
